This Competition is now closed! Please stay tuned, winners will be announced shortly.
After much deliberation, I have chosen my favourite kits from this comp. Trust me, it wasn't easy with so many great designs being submitted but there can only be one winner!
Best Home Kit: NiGarCas http://www.designfootball.com/design-galleries/competitions/everton-umbro-kit-design-competition/everton-home-kit-16504
I love the retro styling of this kit. It's very in keeping with what Umbro seem to be doing with their return. I also like this kit because it's been kept very simple and it's features are subtle yet effective.
Beast Away Kit: Gaabowski http://www.designfootball.com/design-galleries/competitions/everton-umbro-kit-design-competition/everton-away-16551
This kit stood out to me as being a very unique entry. There were only a handful of grey entered yet they all stood out to me. I especially like the range of blues and the way they have been used.
Best Third Kit: Gaabowski http://www.designfootball.com/design-galleries/competitions/everton-umbro-kit-design-competition/everton-third-16553
Gaabowski again! To be honest, he was close to winning with all three of his entries. Another great kit, simple yet effective, he has really differentiated himself from the competition with great use of colour, as he described, the cream makes it look more classic and it was a very smart decision pairing with white shorts for a bit of contrast. The pinstripes and collar top this kit off.
Best GK Kit: Taggo http://www.designfootball.com/design-galleries/competitions/everton-umbro-kit-design-competition/everton-goalkeeper-kit-16759 and Matupeco http://www.designfootball.com/design-galleries/competitions/everton-umbro-kit-design-competition/everton-fc-umbro-goalkeeper-kit-2014-2015-16661
I've chosen two here because I couldn't split these two and it seems fitting to have a two options for the GK. The use of colour is what made me choose Taggo's entry, I like a GK kit to appear very nondescript, it makes it harder for players to identify exactly where the GK is positioned.
I've chosen Matupeco for a beautiful use of colour and great watermark, it was a really well executed kit. I've given out some special commendations as well, but to keep this brief, you'll just have to look at the comments of the kits!
Thanks all for playing, looking forward to the next one!
With the announcement that Everton will wear the famous double diamond again starting from next season. I thought it fitting to have a competition to see what DF members can come up with for the new kits.
