- The nickname of FC Polissya is “Poliski Vovky”, which means the Wolfs of Polissya (the forest region in the northern Ukraine). I took the image of wolf from the team bus of Polissya. From the current badges I saved three stripes that mean Ukrainian letter Ж which is the first of city name Zhytomyr (Ukrainian - Житомир), and also these stripes mean the green trees of Polissya region.
