The city of Pau in Southwestern France is renowned for the Boulevard des Pyrénées and the mountain panorama, including the Midi d'Ossau, whose outline is included in the A of the logo of the city of Pau.
The Fontaine de Vigny was used as the city and club logo in the 1990's, and is included here, and between its arch is the ball (slightly modified) from the current crest, I included it because it looks really distinct. The club motto (Win or Smile) is included, and the castle on top of the crest is inspired by the one from the crest used between 1961 and 1991. The cornflower blue is a nod to the Bleuets de Notre-Dame de Pau, from whom the club has it's origins in.
