It seems difficult to believe a time before replica kits. For most of footballs history, to show your colours, you wore a wooly hat or a scarf. In the 1970's companies such as Humphrey Bros {Umbro) and Admiral started to provide kits with variations to the previous century of kit design. Admiral's tramline kits-Coventry, Wales etc and their England shirts are iconic. I didn't want to replicate a kit but do a homage to several Coventry shirts of the '70's and 80's.

@NBryan cheers, I like the colour combination. Brown is underused in Football and yet goes well with pale blue.

Also, brown worn by the nazis , it was their main colour of recognition - how is that will sit with Coventry fans ???
