First off, why 2016? most of these kits youve made do not look timeless, and most look dated even now. The sage sponsor is great, and I do like the Home, but its going to look dated in seven years time. Second, the red third kit, especially in that colour, is another non starter, for reasons that should be obvious. Personally, if the Toon ever did put that kit on the market, then its not hard to imagine the reaction. A group of toon fans would probably steal a lot of the shirts, cut out the NUFC crests on all of them, then sew them together with sunderland shirts, scarves and flags and set them on fire Krakow derby style. I dont care that its a 125th aniversary shirt, it still sucks, and the other reason that I hate it is that the all red away kit was worn in that cup defeat at hereford.

the yellow second kit - Meh.

i never said anything about the red kit being used as a third kit, it was merely a centenary shirt. and its 2016 for my game on FM2009.

Using that red shirt as a 125th aniversary shirt is a huge no-no, as the red kit (aside from that shade being the mackems colours) is associated with the FA Cup defeat to Hereford. the team of the 1900's, Jackie Milburn, Supermac, the Entertainers - and for the 125 years shirt, you choose the shirt that is best associated with one of the darkest days in the clubs history. No way.

You were right about this looking a bit dated. It needs Championship badges on it now.
