- This is my kit calling for the end of police brutality towards black people and other minority groups. It calls for justice for George Floyd, an unarmed black man killed by four Minneapolis police officers after being detained for allegedly forging a $20 bill. Floyd's last words were "I can't breathe," screamed 16 times. Onlookers begged officer Derek Chauvin to take his knee off Floyd's neck, a type of arrest banned in the department against non-violent detainees. These four men killed George Floyd. They were all a part of it, none of them stopped it. Justice must be served, the world can no longer passively look at the oppression of the marginalized. It's time to end the brutality and racism. Black lives matter.
