Hideous. Royal blue has had nothing to do with Coventry City since 1961, and for good reason. We've had a plenty of sky blue/dark blue stripe shirts, contrary to your suggestion: 1996/97, 1997/98, 1998/99, 2003/2004... That is just an awful and unimaginative design.

Sorry, I worded the description wrong. One of my first experiences of football was some 1997/8 Merlin stickers, with Trond Egil Stoldtvelt and Gray Breen. That was my first encounte with Coventry City's kit - sky and dark blue.
I wished to emulate that, but as I was putting the kit together and playing about with the lightness value for the blue this looked better.
Unimaginative as this design is, it is not offensive (except the shade of blue, which having seen it on a different screen does not look so good).
Surely an improvement on 1981, 92 and 99?

I think the first guest just has something long a thick up his ass.
This is a quality design, IMO.
