Solid design here, excellent work, Pierre Lapa! I really love the choice of the font and how you managed to tied up to an outline - looks great together! The change of colours of the football is a good change - it looks better with the rest! The only thing that I want to mention is can a side of the city's flag next to inner curve of the shield can be done straight, as you did for the Catalonian flag? Really great upgrade on the iconic logo!

@hacobcem Thanks for you comment. I did try to leave it straight that white corner, but I felt that it bothered me more thant the other without the curve. The 2018 official proposal did that and I didn't like it at the time. I got some of the same conclusions of that reject proposal, but I kept the typography restricted to the grid that the bars from the flags imposes. I did a version with black borders but for the competition I think the slight color change and reduction of the color quantity is a better approach to the game. I also tried to find a new shape for the crest, more rounded, but still keeping some resemblance to the current crest.

@pierrelapa Thanks for the follow up, Pierre! Have you ever consider to blend the famous Gaudi Sagrada cathedral with a Barca shield? I had this idea for years, but couldn't do it with what I have... I think that it would be something unique and memorable, as well : Barca shield + Gaudi + Sagrada = Super new logo!
