This Real Madrid kit is a mashup of many of the kits the legendary Ronaldo wore throughout his career. The yellow and circle 9 is from Brazil's 2004 kits. The polo collar was a common design element in his kits - from Cruziero in 1993 all the way to Real Madrid in 2004, every season featured a club kit with a polo collar. This particular design takes the checker pattern from PSV in 1995-96. The colors purple and black were the among most common colors he wore throughout his career - starting with the purple/black striped PSV away kit in 95-96, continuing on to Real Madrid away kits commonly being either black or purple, to the Corinthians 2009 third kit that featured purple/black stripes. One of his last kits was the black Corinthians 2010 third kit, which featured a purple cross design with a striping pattern that is duplicated in this design. Stripes in general were a common design element, from PSV, Barcelona, Inter, Milan, and Corinthians, with varying thickness, this is also applied to this kit. The colors of all his teams are featured within the manufacturer's logo, as well as the southern cross, which is featured on Cruziero's kits. In all, the goal of this kit was to design a kit that was a sartorial culmination of Ronaldo's full career.
