Seville Home Kit Concept A - Martin Thomas Design
Image information
- Description
- This is a concept for the Sevilla Home Shirt Redesign Competition. The shirt is inspired by the club crest and incorportes features taken from the crest, particularly the red and white stripes and SFC insignia. The main feature of the strip is the red vertical stripes which traverse the left hand side of the jersey, passing through the club crest on the upper left chest. The vertical stripes are the same colour and weight as those featured on the club crest and are aligned for a seamless appearance. The stripes also feature at the rear of the collar, the cuffs of both sleeves and shorts, and socks. On the cuff of both the sleeves and shorts the stripes are present on a triangular insert set behind the white garment. On the socks the stripes rap around the foldover. The secondary feature of the strip is the use of the SCF insignia. The insignia features on the shirt at three points - the collar, the upper right chest, and the left sleeve. At the collar the insignia is gold set against claret, on the upper right chest the insignia is near transparent against the material, and on the sleeve the insignia is black set against white. The insignia also features on the left short leg and on the front of the socks. The jersey is a simple straight cut so the focus of the jersey is the detail rather than the template. The collar is a round neck which opens at the front to a V. At the opening there is a claret triangular insert similar to those on the cuffs of the jersey. The use of claret at the collar and hem of the jersey and shorts is inspired by the flag of Seville.
