So, here we go. The objective of the competition is to design an away kit for the legendary Dutch team, none other than Ajax Amsterdam.

The home kit can't really be "designed", since it's a never changed institution (and one of the most beautiful kits in Europe) so it's the away kit you have to do.

Rules:

- Thou must use Adidas as the maker of the shirt

- Thou must not make a shirt primarily white or primarily red

- Thou must use Aegon,club's current sponsor

- Thou must not make a kit with any reference to PSV, Ajax's rival

- Everyone can compete except for thy truly.

Sorry for the "Shakespeare English", it's just that I always wanted to write a list of rules like this. Hope you understand :P .

OK, competition CLOSED.  And the winners areeee:

1st place : Spider's shirt - Minimalistic design, perfect colour match. Only thumbs down is that the navy version posted later looks too much like PSV's away kit, but royal is fine.

2nd place : Arius85's black shirt - Nice tie to the club's early days, but black is a bit overused.

3rd place : CiaranW90's blue/black shirt - Nice one, even nicer that it includes the traditional stripe, but then again, black.

I'm kinda tired of seeing black football kits, really.  Oh for the days it was banned.  Plus I'm not the biggest supporter of Football Manager templates.
