- (PLEASE CLICK ON THE IMAGE TO VIEW IN FULL QUALITY) The inspiration for this shirt idea comes from the deaths and career ending circumstances of some very unfortunate footballers over the years who have suffered heart-attacks on the pitch that has sent shock-waves through the sport. No one in the world is far away from serious injury or death and those suffering sudden and unexpected heart-attacks amongst other things on the pitch is something that is hard to constantly keep an eye on. It happens in not just football, but in all sports. This shirt aims to cut the chances of this happening to players by relaying information back to medical staff at all times with warnings of possible problems that are upcoming through applications on laptops or tablet devices. This can also be used to track players movements on the pitch to also help the players and staff at the club to look at and analyze their input and performance on the pitch which is crucial in the modern era. This is fed back through a similar system to clubs fitness and coaching staff in real time. This shirt therefore kills two birds with one stone and as lightweight shirts in the modern game are crucial, the monitors being built in through fibers in the top add no extra weight and it will feel just the same as a normal football shirt of the current era. As you can also see the shirts show no signs on the outside of the technology either as it is built in on an under-layer of material on the front of the shirt, as it needs to be as close to the body as possible. All in all this shirt will save lives and should help improve player performance.
