Have kits peaked? Has the football uniform hit its limit in both design and performance? As jersey manufacturers release their latest offerings of the 14/15 season, one can not help but groan at that same old pitch; "light fabric, breathable material". Being a bit more educated and familiar with football shirts than the average fan, we at DF can look through this and see it for what it really is; crap. Throughout history, shirts have ( save the 90's ) gotten thinner and slimmer. What I ask, for this competition : "what next?" This competition is very simple, but also very wide open; show us what you think the future football shirts will look like. For this event, there is no bad entry. Some may be more drastic than others, but it is all personal opinion and prediction. Political influence, climate change, whatever you believe will have an effect on the future of footy uniforms, let it influence your final product. A submission is expected to be a shirt, though full kits and anything else you can think of is very very very encouraged. A winning entry will also include a bit of explanation behind their design, and will also recieve a modest prize of a victory card made by yours truly.. As of right now theres no deadline, but I encourage everybody to contribute something in the dead-time of the Design League! Thank you guys!
