@simvisual
I vote for #2 ... On a side note, is anyone else here sick of seeing the Yellow Images template?
everyone's tastes are not discussed! but I like them for example because they are very real and the design fits perfectly. I would like to point out to you that this is a design competition, not of photoshop skills.
@blueskinrulez The reason I don't like them is I actually find them "anti-design". The template disregards important parts of kit design, for example the aesthetics of collars, seams and shapes. To grow and develop as designers we need to push ourselves out of our comfort zones. Take someone like giannakakis for example, he is constantly working on and evolving his template and his designs are always getting better and better. On the otherhand, Nebredan gets to the semi-final and possibly final of this comp simply by re-colouring Arsenal's away kit...
@simvisual I agree with you but I think that for our projects here, the templates of yellow images go very well. if any of us aspire to become a sportswear designer certainly does not show here what he is capable of or even his own best designs. as I said before everyone has his tastes in terms of presentation of design. :)
By a single vote (!) across DesignFootball. com, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, nebredan's FC Anyang (#1) kit is the winner and will move on to the Finals!
Congrats to both on winning their group with such excellent designs!
@simvisual Yes, my kit is inspired (and not re-colouring, as there are other details in the design) on the Arsenal's away kit ... I think that it is not mentioned in the contest bases that the designs have to be original designs, but I understand what you are saying and in the future my designs will be more "originals" (this was my first) On the otherhand, I like the Yellow templates because they are more realistic, although it is true that they can not be more versatile, they are repeated, not originals... even so, I love them. We will continue learning to improve this point
