In the light of fact that the crest of Fenerbache SK has hardly changed at all from the beginning part for minor changes, I had that in mind when I picked a crest vinner her for this voting, also the club has 5 colors that are as far as I gather important to crest and it´s design, or the White, Red, Yellow, Navy blue, and Green, all those colors have a meaning in the present crest and it have been so from the day the first crest was designs by Hikmet Topuzer, nicknamed Topuz Hikmet, who played as left winger for the club in 1910.

I'm a Fenerbahçe supporter from Turkey, and requested this competition from Ziko because I wanted to see designs about Fenerbahçe all over the world. Thank you guys, you've done wonderful logos.

Let me tell you about the colors' meanings:
- White: Openhearted and clean
- Red: Purity and loyalty between Fenerbahçe fans
- Yellow: Jealousy of Fenerbahçe
- Navy: Nobility
- Green acorn leaf: Power

I fully appreciate the meanings of the colours in the crest however I'm voting based on the designer I believe was most creative with their entry. Rama.la would be a close second.

From my point of view, too many entries are simply a re-hash of what is already present. I want to be thrilled and wowed and see a great new original design, acknowledging the past but also unique.

@Smn Jms Dsn I do not know if I should get involved in this discussion but as far as I am concerns then I think when a crest is redesigned that one should take in to account the history of the club and its present crest, if there is a history that is to say, some time there is no history behind the club crest and they are frequently changed, but we are not making a crest for a new club here but for a club that has had a weary small adjustment dun to it crest in over 100 years, this is a club with a rich history and that should be taking in to account when one is redesigning a crest for club such as Fenerbache, that is my opinion anyway, but I might have misunderstood altogether the meaning with this competition from the start :-)

@Rabbi If I were on the board of directors for Fenerbahce and voting on the next evolution of the crest for the club, the finalists would no doubt be Yourself, Xmemo, Hendo, Kunto and Taggo.

But DF is a fantasy land and I like to see barriers of tradition broken down. I can only give one vote and I have to think of a way to allocate it. The 5 designs I just mentioned are great, but in my opinion, too "safe". I want to reward creativity with my vote.

As I said I probably should not have said anything here, but I must admit that I have totally misunderstood the concept of this competition and that from the weary beginning if it is as you suggest. I do not feel strongly about this opinion of mine I just thought to bring it up and will look at this competition differently from now on because as it seam´s then anything goes as far as design is concerns and you suggest and if the others think the same than it is ok by me.

You should design for what you want, not for me. Unless you want my vote. But it's only worth 1 vote.

@Smn Jms Dsn Smn Jms Dsn I do not take it as a gospel I just have had a total misunderstanding what this competition is all about simple as that and it is not a concept I am interested in all that much, and you of course do your designs as you see fit and place your 1 vote where you see fit, I do not want to influence you in these maters in any way. I puled out of this week competition because I do not like redesign competition where anything goes regardless and feel I have nothing to offer in a competition like that, but it is a good competition for those that are in favor of that concept and that is ok by me, no hard feeling of my pert regarding that, so do not read more in to my comments than that, I will be following this competition and will place a logo if I feel I have anything to offer that might fit in this competition. :lol:
