Chelsea X TRIDENTE | Third shirt | KOTW
Image information
- Description
- Third shirt for the Blues. The color of this shirt draws inspiration from the first kit ever used by this team, which was "Eton blue": Chelsea in fact wore Eton Blue from its founding in 1905 as the Earl of Cadogan, who was the club’s president and held the title Viscount Chelsea, was an old Etonian. (The kit is completed with white shorts and black socks, recreating the original color scheme). The design is composed of a gradient pinstriped pattern that forms the lion, the symbol of the team. Cuffs and collar are striped in different shades of Eton blue, forming a gradient effect (like in the away shirt). Instead of the current logo there is only the lion holding a staff (black and white), as in the shirts of the early 70s.
