Nottingham Forest's first choice kit for their first season in the rebranded top flight featured Shipstones in most home games but also carried another brand from the same stable, Labatt's. A new, stylish, pinstriped shirt with a new Umbro logo for a new dawn, albeit one which swiftly brought a temporary close to Forest's top flight tenancy and a permanent end to the legend, Brian Clough's stewardship of on-pitch matters.
